The Old Titans Rugby Association was officially established in 2017, marking a new chapter in the proud rugby history of our school. However, long before its formal beginning, many past players had already been supporting the school’s rugby team with their time, financial help, and knowledge. Their commitment to the game and to the school became the foundation of what we now proudly call the Old Titans family.

The first president of the Association was Mr. Sampath Abeysekara (2007), whose leadership and vision helped unite past players under one strong organization. His efforts ensured that the spirit of unity, loyalty, and teamwork continued beyond school life and created a lifelong bond among all who once wore the Titans jersey.

Today, the Association brings together a wide range of members former players who now serve as coaches, referees, and professionals in both the government and private sectors, as well as those living overseas. Together, they share one goal: to strengthen school rugby and inspire the next generation of Titans.

The Old Titans provide continuous support to the school team through funding, training assistance, equipment donations, and mentorship programs. They also guide young players to develop not only as athletes but also as disciplined and responsible individuals.

Beyond supporting school rugby, the Association also represents its members on the field through its own rugby team “All Titans.” This team participates in tournaments and friendly games organized by various clubs and organizations, keeping the passion for the sport alive among the past players.

The Old Titans Rugby Association stands as a living example of teamwork, brotherhood, and commitment. It is not only an alumni group but a family that continues to grow stronger with every match, every victory, and every new Titan who steps onto the field.
