Imesh Newamal (2011 - 2018)

Imesh Newamal is the One of Greatest Captain in Piyarathana Rugby History He Led the team to Win the Group Championship in Singer Schools Rugby League 2018 and He is the First Piyarathana Rugby Captain to Reached the Division 1 Segment, 

Moreover, He is the Captain Who Won Many Important Victories Such as the 2016 Under-18 All Island Sevens Tournament Bowl Championship, the 2018 Under-19 All Island Sevens Tournament Runner-up and the 2017 All Island  School Games Rugby Section  Fourth Place. Also Newamal Led the First Piyarathana Rugby Team to Play the Prime Minister Knockout Cup in 2018. He also Holds the Record as the Piyaratna Player Who Scored the Most Tries in a Single League Tournament ( 2018 - 12 Tries). After 8 Years of School Rugby  Newamal  Played in Several Sports Clubs & Retired from Professional Sports and He is Currently Working for the Ceylon Electricity Board and Contributes as a Player to the Old Titans Rugby Team.
